1748 Bakehouse was born from the kitchens of (most recently Flour and Fig) My Grandmother's Pie and Provision Goods created by Allison and Kurt D’Aurizio. Allison has built a loyal following with her innovative baked goods. Everything from seasonal pies, savory galettes, hand pies, carmelita's all deliciousness in between . Allison has been featured in Jacksonville Magazine, EU Jacksonville , Void Weekly and contributor to Edible NE Florida. Kurt has been working in restaurants for most of his career and had the privilege of cooking at the James Beard House , as a previous Slow Food First Coast chapter leader had the honor of serving as a delegate to Terra Madre has won numerous awards for his work including two AAA four diamond awards. Food and Wine recently named 1748 Bakehouse (Flour and Fig Bakehouse) one of the reasons Jacksonville is cool.
